Puron or Freon
|
According
to the Clean Air Act of 1990, Freon and
other harmful refrigerants will be phased
out of use and homeowners will soon have
to turn to Puron refrigerant. By the year
2010, the U.S. Government is prohibiting
the manufacture of air conditioners
utilizing Freon. By the year 2020, the
production of Freon altogether will be
banned. This phase out is important to
consider because it is expected that the
costs associated with maintaining or
servicing air conditioners with Freon
will climb. You may be able to avoid this
potentially costly situation by switching
to a Puron unit now. In addition, the
Puron units are environmentally sound and
are actually more efficient then Freon
units. |
Radiant In Floor
Heating

Radiant
floor heating is a unique, efficient and
cost-effective alternative to forced-air
heating. With radiant heating, warm water
is circulated in durable tubing under the
floor to warm the floor and the room. It
provides a comfortable, even heat that
radiates up through the floor to warm the
people , furnishings and air in the room.
It can be used on any type of flooring
including carpet, hardwood, slate,
marble, tile, laminate and linoleum.
Another benefit to in floor heating is
that no blowers are used and so allergens
and pollutants are not dispersed into the

Humidifiers

Controlling
the humidity in your home is very
important. In many cases, the air inside
your home is drier than a desert. Dry,
indoor air is often the cause for such
common problems as itchy or cracked skin,
eye irritation, dry nasal passages and
damaged woodwork in your home. These
types of problems can be alleviated with
the installation of a humidifier. By
putting moisture back in the air, a
humidifier allows you to remain
comfortable at a lower heating
temperature for lower energy use and
greater operating efficiency. |
Air Cleaners

Even in
the cleanest homes, the air you breathe
can be littered with dust, pollen and
other harmful contaminants. By installing
an air cleaning system, you can remove
these contaminants from your home
environment. The system works by drawing
air through the central heating / cooling
system, which then passes through the air
cleaner where the particles of dirt and
dust are trapped. The clean air is then
re-circulated throughout your entire
home, providing a cleaner, healthier
